The blouse (F/W 2005) is crafted from sheer ivory tulle, entirely hand-embellished with pearl beading, silver bugle beads, and clear crystal rhinestones arranged in a sunburst/Art Deco-inspired motif that radiates from the high, jeweled mock neckline down through the bodice. The waist is finished with a scalloped lace hem and an ornate rhinestone heart-shaped clasp detail at the front. Long fitted sleeves continue the beaded pattern to the cuff. Back zip and hook closure at the collar.
The skirt (S/S 2005) is built from layer upon layer of black silk chiffon, cut into dozens of tiered, softly waved ruffles that cascade from a fitted high waist to a dramatic hem. Center front is finished with a row of silk-covered buttons and hidden hook closures along a black satin placket.
Measurements (flat): Blouse: Pit to pit 18” / Waist 16”. Skirt: Waist approx. 14” / Hips approx. 18”
Condition: Excellent. Minor wear to the tulle at the side of the blouse — a common, easily fixable issue with vintage tulle of this kind — visible in photos but completely hidden once worn.
